Advertising with AdWords and AdSense

Google generates revenues by allowing web marketers to buy key-words which summarize their products. Each time a user searches the net, these words or sponsored links, which are relevant to the search results, are listed on the right hand side of the page. AdWords is an innovative and effective way of marketing products on the web. With targeted advertising potential buyers are enticed to their websites where their products are fully promoted and where the customers are then prompted to purchase the product. This increases sales, and also ensures an enlightened and enhanced experience for buyers, making it easier for them to get the best prices and best products within the least amount of time. AdSense is used by many web-site managers, and it allows pertinent links to be displayed on their WebPages. This creates added income because each time a link is clicked the website manager gets paid. Today thousands of sellers already use AdWords and AdSense.

History

In September 1998 co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin began what would become the most used and accurate internet search engine today. After spending two years developing the technology and initially struggling to convince investors, Google inc. started in a garage in Menlo Park, California with a minimal staff of three. A Beta version Google.com answered over one thousand search queries each day. The press began noticing the upstart company and within months they were praised in articles in USA TODAY and Le Monde. That December they were listed as one of the top 100 search engines by PC Magazine. The company expanded and with traffic levels passing 3 million searches per day, they moved to new headquarters in Mountain View, California, dubbed the Googleplex. On September 21, 1999, the beta label was removed and the company went from strength to strength.

With all the above mentioned, It is clear why many people refer to Google as, “the closest thing the Web has to an ultimate answer machine." The company persistently strives for innovation and pushes modern technology. Google truly delivers.
